HBO Data Leaked by Hackers

HBO has announced they were victims of a recent hack, leading to the leak of some of their content.

In a statement, HBO noted the hackers stole proprietary information including some of their programs. While HBO has not confirmed the specific leaked content, reports indicated information related to an upcoming episode of Game of Thrones may be among the content. In addition to Game of Thrones, the hackers leaked episodes of “Room 104” and “Ballers”.

Currently, it is unclear how the hackers obtained the data from HBO, but they claimed they have acquired a total of 1.5 TB of HBO data and they are threatening to leak more content on Sunday.

According to their statement, HBO is working with law enforcement and an outside cybersecurity firm to learn more about the incident.
