Backupify Earns “Enterprise-Ready” Seal From Skyhigh Networks
By John DeWolfAccording to Merriam-Webster, trust is defined as “ the belief that someone or something is reliable, good, honest, effective, etc.” and when it comes time for an enterprise to choose the right cloud application, trust is a MAJOR factor.
Why are we defining and talking about trust? Well it’s because Backupify recently earned Skyhigh Networks’ “Enterprise-Ready” rating and is a participant in the Skyhigh CloudTrust™program. We’re pretty excited to join other well known, trusted cloud vendors who have this rating as well such as Box, Marketo, and Lattice Engines. We’re officially the first cloud to cloud backup provider in the program.
What exactly is this Enterprise-Ready seal all about?
Skyhigh identifies and classifies thousands of cloud services and provides an objective and detailed evaluation of the enterprise-readiness of each cloud service based on a detailed set of criteria developed in conjunction with the Cloud SecurityAlliance (CSA). The evaluation spans five categories:
• Data attributes
• User and device attributes
• Service attributes
• Business attributes
• Legal attributes
This “Enterprise-Ready” rating is yet another example of Backupify’s focus and dedication to security best practices, especially when it comes to enterprise customers. Earlier in the year, we announced that Backupify successfully achieved Soc 2 Type II compliance – which is an essential security standard for enterprise organizations or companies in regulated industries. Soc 2 Type II is also quickly becoming “must have” security criteria for any company evaluating cloud applications.

We’re proud to be named an “Enterprise-Ready” trusted cloud vendor.
