Where would you be without your system administrator? That’s right, the man or woman who keeps the network secure, constantly fixes everyone’s computer, and basically ensures that a slew of applications (from Google Apps to Salesforce.com) are running smoothly on a daily basis. It’s time to celebrate the system admin in your life. This upcoming Friday, July 26th is SysAdmin Appreciation Day. Your system admin works hard and we’re guessing he or she could use a cup of coffee, or three. So surprise your co-worker with a Starbucks gift card as a nice way to say thank you.
Here's how the contest works:
Send Backupify a Twitter message publicly on Twitter using our @backupify handle telling us “why your system administrator is wonderful” (you can also use the hashtag #sysadminluv) or DM us on Twitter. Remember, keep it short and sweet. After all, you only have 140 characters to sing the praises of your system admin. We’ll review the submissions and pick the best three to reward with a $50 Starbucks gift card. Get creative with your limited word count and you could win…..well, your system admin will actually win but you get the idea! The deadline is noon ET Friday, July 26th. We’ll announce the winners and showcase the best responses via our blog on that same day.
