Next week the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium will bring together some of the top CIOs, CEOs and senior IT executives to discuss technology innovation and the challenges these leaders often face bringing technology to their organizations. The conference, taking place on Wednesday, May 21st, features panel discussions focused on hot IT topics such as cloud computing, IT governance, security and privacy, the Internet of things, and more. Given that it’s MIT, there will be a healthy dose of academic research as well.
Backupify CEO, Rob May, will participate in an important discussion “Security and Privacy in the Digital Enterprise” which dives into how a digital enterprise must protect its infrastructure and information against compromise. This is becoming increasingly challenging thanks to mobile devices, BYOD, and cloud applications but it can be done so long as enterprises are ready for the next potential attack. This particular panel will also discuss why CIOs need to evaluate new technologies and put policies and procedures in place to combat cyber attacks.
The MIT CIO symposium has a packed agenda featuring speakers from market leading companies such Fidelity Investments, Dell, Verizon and more (like Backupify!).
