This Thursday, June 12th, Backupify is excited to be exhibiting for the first time at the the 2014 Boston TechJam, Boston’s 2nd Tech Block Party & Innovation Festival. It’s basically a giant carnival-themed outdoor lovefest of Boston innovation, complete with live music, games, booths, food trucks, and fun.
The 2014 Boston TechJam is taking over Boston’s Faneuil Hall and City Hall Plaza from 2pm - 9pm tomorrow, bringing together local startups, leading and emerging technology companies, venture capitalists, artists and students to celebrate (and accelerate) the thriving technology presence of Massachusetts. The best part? Tickets range from $10-$20 and 100% of the proceeds go to charity.
The event kicks off from 2pm - 4pm with the “Startup Pitch Heard ‘Round the World” program, where six local startups will present their business ideas on the main stage of Faneuil Hall Meeting Building in front of an elite panel of venture capitalists. At 4pm, following the startup pitches, the Boston TechJam party will begin in Boston’s City Hall Plaza.
